It was a real pleasure to host a farewell lunch in Honor of Abbas Mirakhor, my boss in the Fund and long time friend. He is leaving the IMF after more than 17 years as Executive Director for Afghanistan, Algeria, Ghana, Iran, Morocco, Pakistan, and Tunisia.
